Our patients experience minimal, to no discomfort. Juvederm injections include Lidocaine in the formula for comfort, and we can apply a topical anesthetic about 30 minutes before your injections for additional comfort.
How long does it take to recover from a Liquid Lift?
There is no recovery period required after a liquid lift. You can return to any activities, including work, immediately after your treatment. Depending on the number of injections you receive, however, you might prefer to go home and relax. Some people experience some mild bruising, soreness, and swelling. This should go away in about a week, and you can wear makeup to cover it up.
How long does a Liquid Lift last?
Juvederm XC results usually last 6-9 months, while Botox injections begin to wear off within 3-4 months.
Is a Liquid Lift safe?
Yes! Both Botox Cosmetic, which contains a minute dose of purified botulinum toxin A, and Juvederm XC, which is made of a substance already found in the body, are FDA-approved and have been used safely for many years.
