Microblading Pre Care Instructions
- 3-4 weeks prior avoid retinol/retin-A creams, glycolic acids, or salicylic acids, botox, fillers, facial peels, laser treatments and sunburns.
- 7 Days prior discontinue blood thinning medication or supplements (NSAIDS) to reduce swelling and possible bruising.
- 7 Days prior no waxing, tweezing, or dermaplaning
- No caffeine the day of the procedure due to increase blood pressure and might cause additional bleeding during procedure
- Please do not wear heavy makeup or lotions on eyebrows on the day of procedure
- Patients cannot be under the influence of any mood altering medications
- Please notify our microblading specialist on any permanent make up previously done
- If client has undergone laser hair removal of the eyebrows, there is more scar tissue. This can cause the pigment to fade prematurely or to look blurry. There is also a chance that the pigment may not be accepting. This will be discussed during the consultation
- If there are any blemishes, pimples, irritation of the sink, bruising, or any other skin imperfections in or around the area of the procedure, it is highly recommended that the client wait until the area of concern is completely healed
- If you have large pores or oily to severely oily skin, this will cause the pigment to fade quickly
